Princess Eugenie 28 and Jack Brooksbank 32 will marry in just over a week in the second royal wedding of 2018
Eugenie the youngest daughter of prince andrew and sarah ferguson the queen’s granddaughter became engaged to mr brooksbank after eight years together in nicaragua in january 2018
The duke of york announced in february that the couple would marry on friday october 12 in st george’s chapel at windsor castle the duke and duchess of sussex wed at the same venue on saturday may 19 earlier this year
Similarly to the wedding of the duke and duchess of sussex princess Eugenie has invited 1200 members of the public and has organized a promenade through windsor following the ceremony
The event will extend to saturday october 13 with reports that there will be a festival with a fairground and afternoon tea in the afternoon
In the evening selected guests will be allowed to celebrate with the newlyweds at an event hosted by the princess parents the second wedding reception will reportedly be held at royal lodge in windsor which has been the official country residence of the duke of york since 2004
Princess Eugenie and mr brooksbank will also invite members of the windsor community , representatives from their favorite charities , residents of the castle and some royal household staff to stand in the grounds , along with children from the local schools which princess Eugenie attended
The couple have alredy moved in to lvy cottage , a three – bedroom home at kensington palace
